During 2022 new auctions will take place in Germany, India, Greece, followed by Bosnia. You can download the full dataset here.

The Federal Network Agency has launched on February 25th a new tender in regards to a new 980 MW offshore wind project in the German North Sea. The bid closure will be on the 1st of September, and it has a limit of 6.4 ct/kWh and most likely, zero subsidies will be successful. A final lottery will be held in case multiple bidders are qualified for the tender. The preliminary investigation costs of the projects in the N-7.2 area will be set upon the winner of the tender, and he will need to go under the planning approval, and a guarantee of €200/kW is meant to cover delays or incompletion.

A tender of 445 MW total capacity made by the smallest decentralized ground-mounted solar projects between 500 kW to 2 MW will be held from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited. The submission deadline has been set for March 17, 2022, with a limit on the tariff of $ 41 ct/kWh, with a preliminary money deposit of 1,331 $/MW. The winner will be responsible for the distribution network, all the permits, and approval procedures.

More information about the tender is here.

A 600 MW renewable energy tender will be held in June in Greece under a new support scheme. The capacity will include onshore wind and photovoltaic, with at least 30% of each technology. More information about the tender in Greece will be released in April.

To conclude, some countries have been announcing new auctions for the next year.

The UK has announced that it will hold new auctions in March 2023 under the Contract for Difference scheme. Every year UK will have to build 4 GW capacity of new offshore wind projects, with more renewable electricity being able to be less exposed to the gas prices volatility.

New Jersey will move the offshore wind tender for 1.2 GW of capacity in January 2023, shifting it from September 2022. The State looks for 7.5 GW of offshore wind by 2035 and will hold multiple tenders to reach this target.
