Ireland’s energy roadmap goal is to produce 70% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030, in line with the direction given by the Government’s Climate Action Plan (2019). This change will need a huge increase of clean energy sources, with at least 10 GW of new projects to be carried on, if not more.
