Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in green infrastructure advisory and contribute to the acceleration of clean energy investments across Europe. Green Dealflow is looking for a Student Analyst to join our Business Development team in Copenhagen. Reporting to the Regional Manager for the Nordics, you will work closely with the project advisory and transactions teams to support deal execution, market research, and client engagement in the renewable energy sector.

As a Student Analyst, you will be involved in Green Dealflow’s core activities, including running financial models based on third-party data, conducting market analysis, and preparing client-facing and internal presentations to support strategic decision-making in market entry and client projects.

Your Responsibilities and Duties Will Include:

  • Financial Modeling: Use in-house financial models to estimate project CAPEX and OPEX across various European and North American markets.
  • Project Assessments: Assist in evaluating the technical, commercial and financial viability of renewable energy projects in Europe and North America.
  • Data Analytics: Support the transactions and advisory teams by conducting ad hoc data analysis using third-party data sources.
  • Sales Support: Contribute to project and investor outreach efforts by preparing tailored reports and communication materials.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the advisory, marketing, and senior management teams to support live transactions and strategic initiatives.
  • Process Optimization: Propose and implement improvements to internal workflows and documentation.

What We’re Looking For

Green Dealflow is seeking an independent, resourceful personality, eager to learn about green infrastructure, project financing, project development and market dynamics. Thus, the ideal Student Analyst is a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in renewable energy, project development, finance and sustainability.

We Expect You To Have:

  • Ongoing studies (2nd/3rd year Bachelor’s or 1st year Master’s) in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly present insights using data and visualizations.
  • Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI-based productivity tools.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English
  • Interest in the renewable energy sector and project development
  • A proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Prior experience in consulting, finance, or sustainability is a plus (but not required)

Additional Information

  • This is a part-time position, approximately 15–20 hours per week, located at our central Copenhagen office.
  • Remote work is not available, and candidates must reside in Denmark.
  • Travel is not expected for this role.
