Green Dealflow is looking for an experienced Transaction Manager who will work closely with the Business Development Director and report to the CEO.
At Green Dealflow, a Transaction Manager is crucial for advancing the company’s sustainable energy initiatives and meeting growth targets. As Green Dealflow’s client base grows within utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects, the company needs an expert to handle complex financial evaluations, lead key transactions, and support its clients. The role is vital for accurate project assessments, effective negotiations, and strong client relationships. By staying on top of industry trends and managing various transaction types, the Transaction Manager will drive Green Dealflow’s mission forward and ensure the successful execution of the strategic goals.
The Transaction Manager will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Financial Evaluation: Expertly evaluate and structure financial models for utility-scale solar, wind, or battery storage projects
- Transaction Management: Lead transactions for large-scale solar, wind, or battery storage projects on both the buy and sell sides
- Client Support: Provide robust support and advisory services to customers on various transaction structures
- Project Assessment: Critically assess the financial viability and quality of projects submitted by developers
- Contribute with Development Insight: Displaying a deep understanding of the development process from greenfield to operational stages for utility-scale solar, wind, or battery storage
- Sales Negotiation: Prepare and lead sales negotiations, effectively presenting projects to investors
- Investor Relations: Maintain proactive and regular communication with investors, especially during the due diligence process
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, including technological advancements, price developments, and policy changes across different markets
- Transaction Types: Manage diverse transaction types, including buy and sell-side processes
Depending on the activity there will be approximately 10-20 days of travel per year.
The ideal Transaction Manager is one who will equally succeed and deliver in running projects ensuring financial evaluation, transaction, and investor communication on a paramount level. Furthermore, Green Dealflow is looking for a candidate, who has:
- Relevant educational background. MSc. Economics & Business Administration or similar
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional languages are advantageous
- Experience with transactions involving utility-scale solar, wind, or battery storage projects
- Understanding of the balance between investors and developers/engineers
- Understanding of utility-scale solar, wind, or battery storage projects
- Structured with attention to details
- Skilled in financial models and legal structures
