Green Dealflow is looking for Nordic Sales Manager for the office in Copenhagen. With reference to the CEO, the Nordic Sales Manager will work closely with the management team and the marketing function to find new leads and potential collaboration partners.
The Nordic Sales Manager will lead Green Dealflow’s growth in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland by developing and managing key relationships with developers of solar, wind, and battery storage projects. The manager will drive the sales process from prospecting to closing, utilizing their expertise in the renewable energy sector and strong negotiation skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate across borders and contribute to Green Dealflow’s market expansion and business success in the Nordic region.
The Nordic Sales Manager’s responsibilities and duties will be:
- Primary Representative: Serve as the face and voice of the company to potential prospects and business partners across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland
- Client Development: Identify and build new relationships with developers of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects
- Sales Management: Develop and execute a business plan, taking full responsibility for managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Client Needs Analysis: Analyze and address client needs, negotiating offers and converting them into confirmed orders
- Client Retention: Implement strategies to retain and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
- Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to support strategic planning
- Custom Solutions: Tailor solutions to meet specific client needs, enhancing the value proposition
- Team Collaboration: Work with the team to refine best practices and improve prospecting techniques
- Cross-Border Coordination: Collaborate with sales associates in different regions to drive unified sales efforts
- CRM Management: Regularly update the CRM system with accurate client data and sales activities
- Marketing Cooperation: Partner with the marketing team to contribute to and align with marketing activities and strategies
- Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network and promote the company’s offerings
- Training and Development: Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to build a high-performing sales team
- Feedback Loop: Collect and relay client feedback to internal teams to drive product and service improvements
Depending on the activity there will be approximately 10-20 days of travel per year.
The ideal Nordic Sales Manager is an accomplished sales professional who can operate autonomously, devising innovative strategies to both broaden and nurture relationships. Furthermore, Green Dealflow is looking for a candidate, who has:
- Educational background in business and/or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Danish (or any of the Scandinavian languages) and English is a must
- Experience with B2B sales in the solar/wind industry
- Proactive and self-driven
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Technical understanding/insights with solar/wind industry
